Vocational Service

Rotary strives to achieve its objective of “Service Above Self” through activities in five primary areas. These are often referred to as the Five Avenues of Service.

One Avenue of Service is Vocational Service. This Avenue represents the opportunity that each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility of one’s vocation as an opportunity to serve society. Rotarians promote and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and promote the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations.

Next RI Convention set for June 23-27, 2018 in Toronto. The Rotary International Convention will travel to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where there’s Inspiration Around Every Corner, June 23-27. Toronto is a diverse city with lots to offer, including vibrant cultural, art, entertainment, and culinary scenes. RYLA camp scheduled. RYLA dates for this year have been set for April 27-29, 2018, at Allerton Park 4-H Memorial Camp. The cost is $165 per attendee with an early registration discount of $10 if sent and paid for by Feb 28, 2018. Click here for the application and here for the consent form.
